Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves and displays with a variety of grocery products, ensuring that items are neatly arranged and faced forward.
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and follow the first in, first out (FIFO) principle.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, and promotions.
- Operate cash registers and accurately process customer transactions.
- Bag groceries and offer assistance to customers with their purchases.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning spills and keeping shelves and aisles tidy.
- Receive and unload shipments of merchandise, verifying quantities and quality.
- Check inventory levels and communicate low stock items to supervisors.
- Assist with pricing and signage of products as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure product quality and customer safety.
