Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant during opening hours, maintaining a smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Train and mentor new employees, providing ongoing guidance and support to the team.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our established standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid shortages.
  • Enforce hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas, promoting a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively to optimize productivity.
  • Oversee food preparation and service, ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant’s specifications and are served in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Food Service Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or food service management is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate the team.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
